These are all presents from Heather, and she gave them me today. Here are all the fossils that she gave me. The fish is from Arizona, and there are geodes, orthocerases, ammonites, pyrite, and a trilobite. Heather found two of the ammonites in Charmouth - the two muddy ones. Thank you Heather - I think I need to re-arrange my favourite fossils!!!!

The Yorkshire Fossil Festival was brilliant! It was in Scarborough. This picture shows Horace the pliosaur. If you get superclose and look at the picture, then you see "pliosaur" on the side, at the top of the pliosaur. There were lots of universities and associations there, and we did loads and loads of stuff.

We went fossil hunting afterwards. We had never been fossil hunting in Scarborough, but we found loads and loads of good stuff - but I found no fossils. Daddy found two gryphaeas and a bivalve, and Mummy found a big plant stalk....

I made a film called "The prehistoric interview". It was the second film I did on my own. And here it is now:

This is the fossil shop in the Heights of Abraham. And this is where you can rub over some fossils, and you can take a picture home for free. If you want to get to the Heights of Abraham, you go up in a cable car, and it is really fun. And the only way to get down is another cable car! 
There was a cave there, and that was super good. I got to take away a stone called calcite. Calcite it used for making road marks. You need to crush up the calcite, and then you can put it into paint to make it reflective. Here is a picture with with some ammonites, some trilobites, and a massive fish head.

I went on a holiday to Morocco, and I went fossil hunting in the Sahara desert. This is me fossil hunting in the Sahara desert. The picture below is a picture of the fossils that we and our guide found. The fossils we found were called Orthoceras. Morocco is really famous for fossils. There are lots of trilobites, but not where we were.

A week ago or so, we went to the Centre for Life in Newcastle. They had lots of fossils. I loved the ammonite that's not curled all the way.

These are fossil pterodactyls. They had moving dinosaurs as well, and they were a bit scary, but not the archaeopteryx in the picture below, because that was just small, but the moving T-Rex was scary. They even had a fossilised dragonfly!

Mummy and I have been doing a course at university, called Dino 101. Every day, we get to watch a video, and some have questions and some don't, and sometimes we even get to build a dinosaur on the computer. I'm learning lots about dinosaurs. Did you know that the vertebrae in your neck are called cervical vertebrae? And the ones in your back are called dorsal vertebrae. And some dinosaurs had tummy ribs called gastralia.

We're not sure what fossils these are. We went to Bridlington and we had to walk a long, long way to get to the cliffs.

These might be fossils, they might not be - but we think they are. They are all in chalk, and that's different from the fossils we usually find.

This is not a fossil, it is a crab claw. It was massive! It was bigger than my finger!

We've been to Port Mulgrave before. We found lots of ammonites. Last time we went, we found lots of plants, but this time we've only found ammonites and belemnites.
